Why Homeowners Choose Us

What actually sets us apart

Not the biggest crew in the GTA — just one that answers the phone, shows up when we say we will, and builds spaces you'll actually want to spend time in.

01

Customer Satisfaction First

We walk every job with you before we call it done. If something's not right, we fix it before we leave — not after a follow-up call.

02

Craftsmanship at a Fair Price

Detailed, line-item quotes with no hidden costs. You get real carpentry — not a marked-up kit — at a price that respects your budget.

03

Booking That Actually Works

Clear start dates, not vague promises. We tell you when we can start and we hold that date.

How It Works

From first walk-through to final walk-around

A real sequence, no shortcuts — this is the order every project moves through.

01

On-Site Consult

We walk your property, talk through how you'll use the space, and take real measurements — not a phone estimate.

02

Design & Quote

A detailed drawing and line-item quote, so you know the material grade and cost before anything is signed.

03

Permitting

We pull and manage the permit and inspection process — required for most decks over 24" off grade.

04

Build

Footings, framing, decking, and railing — typically 1–3 weeks depending on scope.

05

Final Walk-Around

We inspect every board with you on-site before calling the job done.

Our Guarantee

What's backed, in writing

01

15-Year Structural Warranty

Framing and footings are covered for 15 years — if the structure underneath fails, we fix it. Most of our competitors don't put a number on this at all.

02

Fully Permitted & Inspected

Every project that requires a permit gets one, and passes inspection before we call it done. No shortcuts that leave you exposed later.

03

Final Walk-Around Guarantee

We inspect every board with you on-site before the job is finished. If something's not right, we fix it before we leave — not after a follow-up call.

Common Questions

What GTA homeowners ask us

How much does a deck cost in the GTA?

It depends on size, material, and design, but as a general starting point: pressure-treated decks typically run $30–50 per square foot, composite decking $40–70 per square foot, and PVC $50–80 per square foot in the Toronto area. Every project is different — the only way to get an accurate number is a free on-site quote, where we measure your space and walk through material options with you.

Do I need a permit for a deck in Ontario?

Most municipalities in the GTA require a permit if your deck is attached to the house, more than 24 inches (60cm) above grade, or over a certain size. We handle the drawings and permit submission as part of every project that needs one — you don't have to deal with the city yourself.

How long does it take to build a deck?

Most decks take 1–3 weeks from the start of framing to the final walk-around, depending on size and complexity. Permitting timelines (when required) happen before the build starts and vary by municipality.

What's the difference between pressure-treated, cedar, and composite decking?

Pressure-treated lumber is the most affordable and needs regular staining to hold up. Cedar has a warmer, natural look with better rot resistance but costs more and still needs maintenance. Composite costs the most up front but needs little to no maintenance and holds its colour for decades. We'll walk you through which fits your budget and how you use the space.

Do you only build new decks, or do you do repairs too?

Both. We build new custom decks, pergolas, gazebos, and fences, and we also repair or rebuild existing structures — rotted ledger boards, failing railings, sagging stairs — after inspecting what's underneath, not just what's visible.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Brampton, and the surrounding GTA.
